Beautiful You

No, I'm not MIA!! I have been busy trying to meet a deadline on some mini albums I was asked to make for a friend's Cancun birthday trip.
Today I have 2 cards to share with you. I used the new Beautiful You stamp set by Stampin' Up.

I stamped the girl in black ink on white cardstock and paper pieced the hat and dress from the In Color designer series paper using Mint Macaron paper, ink and ribbon.
I wrapped gold metallic ribbon over the Mint Macaron lace ribbon, added gold metallic nail heads in the upper right corner.
This 2nd card uses the same stamp set. I started with a Kraft card base and layered a piece of cream card stock and a piece of  Stampin Up Falling In Love paper to it. I paper pieced the hat and dress using the same paper line.

I die cut the image and layered it on top of a scallop circle die cut. I wrapped a piece of lace ribbon around the panel and adhered the circle die cut to the front of the card. I punched out 3 flowers from color coordinating card stock, added pearls to their centers and adhered them to the circle die cut.
And now some pictures of my handsome little grandson who turned 8 months on Easter Sunday! Have a good week ahead -

Love his expression on this one!
