Fashion Plate

Happy Sunday! Wow, over a month has passed since I have been on my blog. I have been busy working on a baby album for a shower gift that is coming up in March. Once it's finished I'll post some pictures.
I did change gears and made a couple of girlie cards, one to be used as a birthday card. This gal is one heck of a seamstress so I always like to make her card to reflect her passion.

I saw a page of a mini album on Pinterest and change it up into a card. The paper is from Graphic 45 "A Ladies Diary". The chipboard dress form from Maya Road was painted black. I traced the form onto pattern paper to dress it up, added a flower and rhinestone to the waist and rhinestones to the neckline. I finished it off by adding black rhinestones to the bottom of the card.

Another card off of Pinterest - using the same paper line, I cut out one of the cut  aparts from the 8x8 paper pad, distressed it with black ink and adhered to the left side of the card on top of a piece of lace. I added sone pearls to the center of a couple of the flowers on the pattern paper and along the right side of the card.

I'm also trying to get use to an iMac which my generous children gave me for Christmas. It's been a difficult transition for me since I'm so use to Windows and an Android cell phone.
Enjoy your week ahead!
