Summer time fun

I have been off all week and am finally spending my last day of vacation in my craft room making cards...lots of cards. I had planned on spending every day making an assortment of cards to have when I needed them. Plans changed... I had my grandson every day, all day. What a joy it was! Even better, my godson Aiden came and stayed over night! We had gorgeous weather here too. Here's a pic of the 3 of us spending time in the sunshine!

One more to share - at the zoo.

Here is a card I made for a friend celebrating a July birthday -

I took a panel of Pool Party cardstock by Stampin Up, dry embossed it, wrapped a ribbon around the panel, made a double looped bow and adhered it to the front of a white card.

Using the Avant-Garden stamp set from Stampin Up, I stamped the flower and foilage on to a stitched circle framelit die cut and adhered it to the embossed panel.
I stamped the sentiment on a hand-made tag, sponged the edges and adhered it to the lower right corner.

Thank you for visiting and your comments are appreciated!
Have a good week ahead~

  1. Sounds like you had the best week, Nancy! Nothing better than fun times with family. Your card is so pretty. I love the watercolor look of the flowers.
