Swirly Scribbles

I hope you are staying indoors today and avoiding the frigid temperatures! I certainly am. Although the weather forecast said we were getting hit with 8-10" of snow, I barely got 2" but with the wind gusts, I have drifts about 2' high! That makes a wonderful day to craft!
I finally decided on my Christmas cards this year. I had ordered some new products and went to Pinterest for ideas.

This is my Swirly Scribble Snowman. I used an embossing folder on a piece of light blue cardstock and adhered it to a white card base. I used punches, dies, glitter, snow, ribbon and pearls. And a white pom pom was glued to the end of his hat.

I used the same Swirly Scribble die for the wreaths, ribbons, embossing powders, stamped sentiments, ribbons, fuzzy trims and red stickles.

Another set of cards using the same Swirly Scribble die along with a window pane die. I dry embossed a layer of white cardstock to get the brick look and the vellum behind the panes to resemble snow. I also die cut the 'merry' and 'peace'. I tied a bow from red/white twine and adhered it with a small glue dot.  Red stickles was added to the wreath after I took the picture.

One more card I made and this one is being sent to my boss in California. Her favorite color is pink...

I adhered pattern paper to a pink card base. I punched out the pine branches and glued 3 red gems for the berries on to the die cut ice skates. Using black and gray markers, I colored in the heels and skate blades. And using a light brown marker, I added "x's" for the faux laces. Everything was shaded using Tim Holz 'gathered twigs' distress ink.

Last but not least is my grandson's 4 month picture. At his Doctor visit this past Friday, he weighed in at almost 14 lbs.! This little guy wouldn't smile for his mommy since he just had 3 shots!

Have a good week ahead. And a blessed and very merry Christmas!
N~
