Begins with a "B"

Happy Sunday everyone! Did you remember to set your clocks ahead last night before you went to bed? Of course I didn't...and wondered why it was so light out at 6:00 a.m. when I awoke!

I am sharing a card with you tonight that I am entering in the challenge at Sentimental Sundays - the challenge is to use 3 embellishments that begin with 'B'. On my card, I used 3 buttons and 3 bows!

I used white, pink and yellow ribbon from My Craft Spot.

I die cut flowers out of pink and white felt using Papertrey Ink's Beautiful Blooms II and added some of their vintage buttons.

Pattern paper is from Prima's Watercolor Rainbow collection, die cut is Spellbinder's Persian Motifs which I stamped the birthday cake image and colored it in using Stampin Up's watercolor pencils. You can't see it in the pictures, but I added glitter to the candle flames to give it some sparkle.

Today was the big outing to take my nephews to see a musical at the historical Rialto Square Theatre - ScoobyDoo and the Magical Mystery Tour. They enjoyed it very much in spite of the wet and rainy weather we are having right now in Chicagoland.

Well, I am off to post my card over at Sentimental Sundays - have a great week!

  1. Hey Nancy!! This is so sweet! I love the felt flowers and the stamp is cute!

  2. So pretty Nancy. Love the triple bow, will have to try that. Such a soft and sweet color palette, too. Thanks for joining us for the "3 B's" challenge at Sentimental Sundays.

  3. Such a pretty card, Nancy - lovely feminine colours and elements.
