Welcome baby girl

Hello!
Today I am sharing a trifold mini album made especially for a friend of mine who is expecting her first granddaughter in November. She already has 3 grandsons. Needless to say, all are anticipating this sweet baby girl’s arrival!

The album measures 5 3/4 x 10 with a ribbon closure. Flowers are from Petaloo. I used the Echo Park “All Bundled Up” paper line along with the stickers and cut aparts that came with this collection.

This album has stacked pockets that holds photo mats along with photo booklets.
Along with stacked pockets it also has a waterfall folio and pockets which holds more photo mats, booklets and keepsakes.

That is it from me. Enjoy your week ahead -

birthday #2

Hello everyone - jumping in to share a birthday card I made for my grandson who just had his 2nd birthday!

I used an old paper line by Deja Views called All Boy. I adhered pattern paper to red card stock onto a white card base. Punched out some of the card stock elements from the tablet of paper and made a collage out of them. I added some blue twine to the tag. I pulled out my Cricuit and cut out the number 2 from red card stock.

Here's a couple of photos taken from the birthday party - Enjoy!

He loves shopping carts - probably his favorite birthday present of all!

The birthday boy with his mommy and daddy

Birthday boy sitting in his Sesame Street desk - his present from this grandma!
Can you tell the theme was palm leaves - lol!

Until next week - see you then!

Remembrance

Hi all,
Sharing another mini waterfall folio album I made using an older Authentique paper collection called Remembrance - I think. I had a 6 x6 tablet of loose sheets of paper and a card stock sticker sheet.
This was very easy to put together. I used Kraft card stock to wrap the front, back and spine. I took a cut apart from the collection and mounted it on green cardstock and adhered the 2 sides and bottom to the front cover. I left the top open for a picture to be tucked in. A trio of purple flowers and leaves were adhered to the lower left. The closure is some sheer ribbon from my stash.

Inside cover is a pocket with some tags and photo booklets made from various cut aparts.

The right inside cover is the waterfall folio. I took a sticker and adhered it to the top of the first photo mat.

added a sticker which was backed to cardstock to be used as a tuck spot on each photo mat.

Thanks for stopping by. Sweet comments are always appreciated!
Have a great week ahead -

Party cards

As I mentioned in last weeks post, I have a few cards to share using the Authentique "Party" paper along with some cardstock stickers. The 2 pages of cut aparts are both feminine and masculine.

Kraft card stock for the base and I layered pattern paper and Kraft cardstock, a cut apart adhered to Kraft card stock with a piece of twine tied around it; finished it off with a couple of buttons in the lower left corner.

Kraft card stock for the base, layered Kraft and pattern paper and made some tags, layered on to the front of the card. Cut an oval out of one of the cut aparts and adhered it, off centered, to an oval die cut. Popped it up with some Stamping Up dimensionals. Tucked in some black twine made into bows to the right side of the cut apart.
Same thing for the top and bottom cards except I switched to black card stock and layered pattern paper along with layering a cut apart to black card stock. Using Stamping Up dimensions, adhered it to front of card. Added bows made from ribbon and twine from my stash
This last card was actually made from a piece of the 12 x 12 pattern paper. I cut it to size, added some  glossy accents to the balloons and the speakers on his radio.

Below is a close up of the speakers and balloons. Hope you can see the shine of the glossy accents.

I have been busy in my craft space. Once you get the mojo back, you just can't quit!! Next week I will share another mini album I made from another wonderful crafter I discovered while carousing You Tube again!
Have a great week ahead -

Gate fold mini album

I'm sharing another album I finished following the amazing Frances Long's tutorials on You Tube.
This one is her Gate Fold mini album, version 1. I used Carta Bella's paper line "Summer Splash".

The two doors are held closed by a magnet closure on the right side of the cut apart.

There is a mini waterfall folio on inside of left door that holds 3x4 pictures. You will see quite a few stickers from the collection that I reinforced with cardstock on the backs and used as 'tuck spots' throughout the album.

This is an expanding pocket that holds a ton of cut parts and photo mats/booklets (see photo below).

Inside flap that holds a large tag and opposite side has a belly band that holds more cut aparts

 More photo spots

Inside front right door has 2 pockets that holds 1 large and 1 small tag

A large waterfall folio that holds 4x6 photos.

That is it from me. Working on a few cards using Authentique "Party" paper line that I will share with you next week.

I haven't shared any pics of the baby lately - he'll be 2 next month! Where does the time go?

Stiches

I found another crafter who shares her love of mini albums on YouTube! Her name is Francis Long and her channel is called Your Book of Memories. I'm sharing my first album following her tutorial on a double waterfall folio album. I used the Authentique Stitches paper line.
The album measures 6 1/2 X 9 1/2.

This is the front cover. I am using ribbon for the closure. This ribbon was actually the handles from Victoria Secret's shopping bag!

Inside the album - left side holds 3 tags and has a vertical waterfall folio with a magnetic band.

This is the right side of the album which holds 2 tags and a horizontal folio with a magnetic band.
Since I took the pictures, I have since decorated the tags with pattern paper, punched a hole and looped ribbons and twine through them. I picked up some sewing themed charms from Michaels so once I add those, this book is complete!

That is it from me. Enjoy your week ahead!

Graduation

Happy Sunday everyone!
Popping in kind of late today with a graduation card I made for my niece who has finished 8th grade! I was scouring Pinterest for some ideas and found this sketch.

Card stock and pattern paper is from Stamping Up along with the stamped sentiment.
I am working on another mini album and hope to finish it to share with you next week.
Until then, have a great week ahead!
