Desk Calendar

Good morning! Can you believe Halloween is only a few days away? To me, that marks the start of the "holidays"!

I followed a tutorial by Tamra Merrill of Country Craft Creations of her desk calendar. My version is the same other than using different papers. I used the Graphic 45 A Time to Flourish for all the calendar pages inside.  For the front and back covers, I used SEI Granny's Kitchen. Now that's going way back! See, I told you I was a hoarder when it coms to my papers!

The ribbon closure is seam binding from my stash. The flower is from Prima. The decorative strip of card stock was punch out using a Martha Stewart punch.
Here is a look at the inside -

These papers are just too beautiful and don't need any embellishments. The few I did were fussy cut from the paper and adhered to the actual calendar.

I may go back and add some wink of Stella to some of the flowers ...maybe. This beautiful paper doesn't need much added to it!

That's it from me. Enjoy your week ahead!

Spooky Sweets

Hi friends,
A couple of weeks ago I attended a Stamping Up workshop where we made a pocket card using their new Halloween bundle "Spooky Sweets".

Since I did not splurge this year and buy any new Halloween papers, I improvised using what I had in my stash and made a couple more. Not only will the pocket fit a sweet treat but you can use it to hold a gift card.

That is it from me this chilly and rainy Sunday. Enjoy your week ahead!
