wreath for all seasons

Happy August already! Or is it September? The weather this past weekend sure felt like fall! I stopped in my local Michaels Craft Store over the weekend and was amazed at all the fall and halloween decor being displayed! And here I sit, mentally making a list of what I need to pack for a quick 3 day trip to the beach this week!
August is a month chock full of birthdays! My card today uses a stamp set by Papertrey Ink, cardstock and pattern paper are from Stampin Up.

 

I stamped the wreath and flowers on white cardstock and dry embossed all 4 sides of the panel using my scoring tool. I adhered it to orange striped pattern paper, tied a turquoise ribbon around both pieces and adhered it to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Tempting Turquoise card front. I stamped "Happy" on a tag, added a turquoise gem and popped it up across the wreath. I stamped Birthday in the bottom right corner.
