Post Baby Shower

Good Sunday morning to everyone! Just popping in to share some pictures from the baby shower last Sunday. The parents-to-be received everything they wanted and more!

Here are a couple pictures of a tugboat I made out of diapers, held together with nothing but straight pins and elastic bands! We used these for centerpieces for the sweet table.

Life saver candies hung from red ribbon on the sides with a straight pin stuck into the diaper.

The smoke stack on the upper deck is the inside roll from a  roll of paper towels that was painted black and wedged in between the diapers

I used golf tees to wind the twine around on the 'upper deck' and the tees just tucked in between the rolled diapers. Each tugboat had its own name - S.S. Bradley and S.S. Snuggle Bug.
The nautical cookies turned out adorable!
I cut the tags to measure 2 x 4" and stamped them using 2 different Stampin Up stamp sets.

Here are a couple of pictures of my beautiful family
parents to be

Joanna and Dana

Jake's cousin supplied the most necessary gift of all for the new dad - a tool belt filled with all the necessary supplies needed to feed and change a dirty diaper! Hysterical!
Needless to say the shower was a success!
Enjoy your week!

Baby Pocket Mini album

Last minute preparations are underway for the baby shower tomorrow. I spent the day on Thursday and Friday finishing up the pocket page mini album and at the last minute decided to add a small shadow box frame to match.

The paper line I used to create both is by Doodlebug - "Anchors Aweigh". It's perfect for a nautical theme shower or nursery for a baby.

I have lots of pictures of the mini album so grab a drink of something and get ready!
 This is the top view - holds 6 pages - - - measures 6x6 and the spine is 2 3/4 x 6.

I made little photo booklets to put inside the front and back covers- - -

The page on the left folds down and has 2 spots for pictures and/or journaling.

This also folds out accordion style for 6 additional pictures/journaling.

 Tags inside of tags!

Each page has a side pocket that holds a 5.5 x 5.5 photo mat; both front and back.

This left page also is a waterfall style folio. It will hold 7-8 pictures.

More photo booklets tucked inside the back cover pocket.

That is all from me. Enjoy your long weekend and have a safe 4th of July!
